The eighth edition of the CGECI Academy took place, from October 14 to 15, 2019, at the Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire Abidjan, with the guest of honor, Paul KAGAME, President of the Republic of Rwanda.
Platform initiated by the General Confederation of Businesses of Côte d’Ivoire (CGECI), the CGECI Academy, offers the opportunity to national and international business leaders to discuss topics related to the business ecosystem.
The theme of this year’s edition was: “ Business environment: Which model to favor for business development in Africa? “.
Invited to this event, the Sales Department of FILTISAC, led by the CEO, Mr. Ibrahima Charles AMADOU, received at its stand, the visit of high personalities including the President Paul KAGAME and Mr. Daniel KABLAN DUNCAN, Vice-President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire.
The CEO took the opportunity to present the activities and solutions offered by FILTISAC in the field of packaging. Several activities, among others, an inaugural conference, panels and some thirty discussion sessions, furnished this edition.
Mr. Faman TOURE, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte d’Ivoire (CCI-CI), participated in the panel whose theme was: “ How to optimize customs operations and fluidity for a better business competitiveness? ”.
These were, for the panelists, MM Germain YAO, Director of Studies and Economic Information at CCI-CI, Hien SIE, Director General of the Autonomous Port of Abidjan and OUATTARA Issa, Deputy Director General of Customs, to present the actions undertaken by their respective structures to facilitate customs operations.
