From 01 to 03 October 2020, the 7th edition of the JNCC (National Cocoa and Chocolate Days) was held at the Félix Houphouët Boigny Foundation in Yamoussoukro, which revolved around the theme “ All committed to a cocoa , friend of the forest ”.
As usual, our common house FILTISAC responded in its capacity as official sponsor to these 72 hours of celebration of brown gold, our national wealth, COCOA. After the announcement of the farm gate price of 1,000 FCFA by the President of the Republic Alassane Ouattara, during the opening ceremony on October 01, visitors and other stakeholders in the sector were allowed access to the stands to discuss and discover the companies present.
At the end of these days of cocoa celebration, 250 visitors marked the FILTISAC stand with their presence. Among these visitors, we could recognize the long-standing partners (Wholesaler, Cooperative and exporters) but also new players wishing to work with the packaging giant that is FILTISAC.
To these illustrious partners, the FILTISAC teams had the pleasure of welcoming students from the INPHB of Yamoussoukro (future Agronomists and Marketers) curious to discover FILTISAC and its activities. This edition ended on a particular note of contagious good humor among the visiting farmers, certainly due to the increase in farm gate prices.
In the hope of a 2020-2021 season better than that of last year which recorded 2 million tonnes exported by Côte d’Ivoire, or 40% of world production.
